Thomas Robert Lubich, 66, passed away March 6, 2012. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Patti Lubich; children, Brian (Kristin) Lubich of Colorado Springs and LeAnn (Scott) Aumiller of Pueblo; sister, Sandy Sabo of Pueblo West; grandchildren, Megan, Kelsey, Kyle, Paige and Blake; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ann Lubich; and sister, Linda Conklin. Tom was born June 11, 1945, in Pueblo. He served in U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired as a superintendent for the Pueblo County Road and Bridge Department. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial Mass, 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at St. Mary Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave., with the Rev. Father Ben Bacino as celebrant. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Jake Clifton T-Cross Ranches Memorial Scholarship Fund and Preseren Glee Club through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.     I was so sorry to learn about Tom’s tragic passing from our mutual friend Joyce Wickizer. Your Central classmate family shares your sadness; we also share the many wonderful memories that you, and we, will have of Tom, his humor and wit, until we all move to that higher place.     I was so sad to hear of Tom’s death. I always looked up to him. I keep seeing him in my minds-eye coming into his mom and dad’s house and sitting down at that table. Simply put, he was a good man, and I am proud to be one of his cousins. Rest in peace, Tom.
