  5. Marilyn and family,
Tom has had a wonderful impact upon us. He was a friend that we knew prayed for us. He left a wonderful legacy for his family because of his passion for souls particularly boys and girls. He placed his trust in his Sweet Jesus to take care of his needs. Joyce and I are praying for you as you continue grieving.

  7. What a wonderful legacy of love and leadership Tom has left for all who were privileged to know him! To say that he will be missed is a gross understatement. His memory lives on and serves to encourage us and comfort us. God’s richest blessings to you, Holden family! You remain in our prayers!

  8. To all the Holden Family,

I pray for God’s peace and comfort to be with you. The loss of a family member is never easy. However, rejoice in the fact that the word of God teaches that we do not grieve as the world but rather we grieve as those with hope. Because we know that Mr. Holden served Christ with all his heart. One day we will see him in a place where there is no more pain, no more fear, no more tears.

  9. I know our words mean little at a time as this, but I do know God’s word will hold you & keep you & strengthen you. May God wrap his loving strong arms around you, each and every-day of your life.

  10. Dear Holden Family. I am terribly sorry about your loss. Tom was a very good man. 18. On behalf of Paulina and the girls I would like to express our deepest condolences to the Holden family. Tom has been a great role model. We have been encouraged by his strength in The Lord when we were weak. He will be greatly missed. Please take comfort in the word of The Lord which says “Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

  20. Dear Holden Family,
Please know that we are holding you up in prayer for comfort and grace from our heavenly father in this time of great loss.
Tom has always been such a dear friend and a great inspiration. He has shown his relationship with Christ by living life as a testimony of His love. I have admired and loved Tom as my brother since we first became friends.
If friends are measured by memories and years, and grief can be known by the pain and tears, I can tell you that Tom has been a great friend to me, and we will mourn his absence until we are joined again in Glory to share with him there the presence and worship of our Lord. As we are assured by the promise of Christ, our tears will be wiped away, and our sorrows turned to joy.
May God hold you close and keep you until then.

  21. we were very sad to hear about Tom’s passing, all though we didn’t know him too well we can tell that he was a very nice and caring man who will be missed greatly by all.

  22. To my cousin and friend.
I am so glad you were a part of my life. All the times we spent camping, playing kick the can, dodge ball, hide & seek and other games are fond memories of mine. I want to thank you for two things, one, being such an integral part of my life and two for the measles you gave me, my sisters and your sister all at the same time. I will sure miss seeing you the next time I get back to Colorado. My deepest sympathy to your wife & children, your mom, sister and brother and your family and friends. Love, Nancy

  23. Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Tom is a man who was had a lasting influence on the lives of thousands of boys around the world. Many of those boys are already men who are passing on a legacy that was helped and or strengthened buy his direct influence. Many, many more boys and men will have lives enriched by Tom. Boys like my son, who never met Tom but will benefit from his service indirectly because he had a part in making me and so many boys the men we are today. We have lost a great mentor all too soon. God is Good and Sovereign.

Peace and Blessings to Marylin and the family,

    Tim

    Nahum 1:7

  28. Dear Marilyn & Family,
I work with Tricia. However, Tricia is more than a workmate, she is a dear friend to me. I was saddened at the sudden earthly loss of Tom. Yet we all know he is in a better place. Tricia was very supportive of me when my Mom died last month and always has a good Word for us. I will continue to pray for you and your family as you walk through the days ahead. We can rejoice in the fact that this is a temporary separation. I look forward to meeting Tom when we are all together in Heaven.
