Thomas H. Smart, 82, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away April 13, 2007. Survived by his wife, Joy Smart; children, Thomas Douglas (Kelly) Smart of Houston, Texas, Patricia Ann (Richard) Branan of Los Angeles and Clifford Lawrence (Christina) Smart of Greeley, Colo.; siblings, William (Anne) Smart and Victor Williams; sister-in-law, Mildred Moore, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Savannah and Shelby Smart, Heather (Justin) Fox-Gardner, Andrea, Matthew, and Amy Smart; and great-grandchildren, Katrina Fox-Gardner and Tyler Whitley. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Edith Smart; and sister, Audrey Maebelle Smart. Thomas was born October 16, 1924, in Pueblo. He retired from Southern Colorado Power and Centel Electric after 46 years of service. As per his request, there will be no viewing. Service, 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in the Chapel of the Angels Mausoleum at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Pa, thank you for your example to us, for your love, and for the sacrifices you made to your family. Thank you for having my father and raising him to be a good dad like you. You will always be remembered.
Dad you have a been a constant source of guidance in our lives. Your still, quiet voice has talked to wherever we’ve been even while you were with us. We pray that you will continue to guide us in the Great Cloud of Witnesses. We love you and will miss you.
