Thomas Carey Ashworth, 98, passed away July 19, 2013. Survived by his son, Tony (Bev); daughter, Peggy (Bob) McCown, all of Pueblo West; seven grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; and his oldest son, Lowell. Tom was born July 11, 1915, in Webb City, Mo. The family moved from Wichita, Kan. in 1960 to Pueblo. He was employed at Crews-Beggs and later Dillard's as the display manager. He was an active member of First Methodist Church and volunteered at the Cooperative Care Center. His lifetime passion was the Boy Scouts of America and was honored with the Silver Beaver Award. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. The extended family will have a private celebration of Tom and Bonnie's lives.
