So sorry to read of this loss. Cher, my heart goes out to you. Such wonderful memories, from Pride City Band, the college years, the trip to Europe, and years of other events in the musical arena. What a loss for all. JoAnn Schecter Tomsic
So sorry to have read this, Ms. Levy was my sixth grade guitar teacher at Central Grade. I am now 64 , and am a retired music teacher. Had the privilege to learn not only from her, but Mr. Levy at USC.
You were such a great light and I will miss our talks! Prayers to your family.
I’m so sad for your loss, Seth. I know that not only was your mom, kind, constantly giving, and someone with an awesome sense of humor, she was your best friend. She will truly be missed. You will find something that reminds you of her as time goes on and it will bring a smile to your face, like hot air balloons do for me with the loss of my dad.
Love always,
Sarah
We had some fun times in school. So Ellen had a great sense of humor and love to laugh
Your mom was one remarkable gal who touched so many lives with her kindness and musical talents.
To me, Sue was an awesome “friend mom” – always so thoughtful with birthday and holiday gifts, and her sweet handwritten notes never failed to brighten my day.
I will always remember our fun day working together at the community event in Walsenburg a few years ago- sharing laughs, lunch and creativity on a warm summer day… it was very special.
For the last decade I have been fortunate to witness what a loving and supportive parent she was to you, Seth, and to her beloved pets—a devoted woofie, kitty, plant, and chicken momma she certainly was!
Her caring voice and genuine spirit will be deeply missed, and these memories will always remain in my heart.
I love and miss you, Curly Sue.

Cher, I’m very sorry for your loss. Your sister sounds like a wonderful person. She will be missed.
Suellen’s humor was very quick and unique. I loved her comments about the things happening around us in school and in our early 20’s. Her light lifted spirits and her music sweetened the moments even on cold motorcycle rides.
Your sunshine 🌞 Seth.
Suellen was our grade school band teacher and I took private clarinet lessons from her for several years. I even babysat for Seth several times. She touched many young lives with her patient and fun way of teaching.

I taught with Sueellen in Walsenburg and knew her to be a loving and caring teacher. I also knew her aunt and cousins who taught in the district as well.
I am saddened to hear of her passing. May her soul rest in peace.
Suellen and my sister, Faith, were great friends and shared all of their dreams and wishes for the future. I am so sorry for the family’s loss but I am happy she and Faith will be reunited. Blessings to her son, sister and all of the family members.
I can just hear them cackling and telling stories. Although I will miss being able to talk with her, she is one of the people who have been indelibly etched in my memories. Enjoy walking again with your old friend Benny. She has been holding a spot for you.
Her love of life was amazing.
God bless Seth and her sister Cheryl.
Suellen Levy was a most talented person. I was a colleague of her late father, Ralph Levy, at SCSC, University of Southern Colorado & finally, CSU-Pueblo. It doesn’t seem possible that she’s passed. My sincere condolences to her surviving sister. Cher
Sending you peace and comfort during this time. May your memories give you strength throughout the days.
Suellen and I were in World History class at Central with Ms. Kirk. I am so sorry for the family’s loss.
