Sue Crane, 73, passed away June 3, 2008. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerome L. 'Jerry' Crane; children, Leslie Biggs of Pueblo West, Paul (Cathryn) Crane of Boulder and Lynn Taylor of Pueblo West; siblings, Charles 'Chuck' (Judy) Carter of Jackson, Miss. and Karen (D.C) Wheeler of Pueblo; grandchildren, Candice (Matthew) Blake, Stephen Biggs, Meghan Taylor and Christopher Taylor; great-grandchildren, Reese Blake and Madison Blake; and beloved pets, Duchess, Lucy and Ricky. Sue was born to Charles and Dorothy Carter on July 24, 1934, in Mansfield, Ohio. After raising her children, Sue worked beside her husband at the J.L. Crane Company until retiring in August 1998. She loved to travel and cruise worldwide. Sue was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for Meals On Wheels and Assistance League Pueblo, and was a Blue Lady at Parkview Hospital. Sue's gentle heart will be greatly missed.
Viewing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the family present at the viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. The casket will not be present at the church. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church, 10th and Court, with the Reverend Suzanne D'Spain officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorials to Susan G. Koman Foundation, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003. So sorry for your loss. I remember dinners at your house. Sue always treated me with kindness and respect. I remember her and+ all of you fondly.
