Steven D. Samuels departed this life on November 11, 2016 at the age of 57. Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Marjorie Samuels and Richard and Irene Nicholas. Survived by his parents, William and Marilyn Samuels; siblings, Debbie (Shane) Greenhood, Lori Harrison and Marilee Samuels. Steve cherished his nieces and nephews, including Jason Samuels, Adam Harrison, Lacey (Chet) Murray, Alyssa Harrison, and Chase Seilheimer. Also survived by his special friend, Kellie Rothenberger; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Steve graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. with a Bachelor's degree in both Chemistry and Psychology. He returned to the family business (Billight Electric) as a Master Electrician, where he spent his career. Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. He cherished his black Labradors and left many memories of his swimming career as a record holding breast-stroker and an awesome water skier. Steve was recently baptized at Fellowship of the Rockies. Service, 11 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, at Fellowship of the Rockies, 3892 W. Northern Ave. with a reception following. Private family burial. Steve was a great guy. He could make a rooster tail better than anyone I’ve ever seen! Had some good times out at the lake. I met him in 1975. Karla & I send our condolences to the Samuels family. Rest in Peace Steve.
I am so sorry. You have always been great friends to me and my family. Steve was a good friend growing up and I enjoyed working with him when I was with Billight.
