  4. CandleImageDear Marita, I’m glad you published information about Steve in the newspaper. I have fond memories of a century ride with Steve and Doyle Muller many years ago. I’ve been duck and dove hunting with Steve. I was so happy when I purchased the Honda Shadow from you. Steve shared interesting books with me and I knew he was aware. Although I didn’t see him that often at the music store after his hiking accident at Maroon Bells, he was always interesting to converse with. My sincere, heartfelt condolences to you and your family. God Bless

  5. Good times riding laps in city park and road riding the roads around Pueblo, in the early seventies.
    Happy riding Steve.

  6. Marita, I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s passing away, Sending our Deepest Condolences and Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time 🙏 ❤️

  7. Marita,
I will never forget when Steve would take you to lunch daily when we were at Wells Fargo….he’d come dressed to the nines- looking sharp and gentlemanly for YOU! The day I came to your house to look at your blinds…such a gentleman he was to an unexpected visitor! May God bless you and your family ❤️

  8. CandleImageI’m so sorry to hear about this loss! Steve was special to me in 2 ways – he was family (my dad’s first cousin) and I had him for Access Hour (home room) all 4 years of high school. He was funny and sarcastic and I remember clearly every time he brought his guitar to class. Prayers for peace that surpasses all understanding.

  9. Marita, Steve was one of the first people we met when we moved to Pueblo in the early 70’s, and I am grateful for the musical memories we created. Steve became a lifetime friend, especially for my husband, Dave. I wonder how many happy miles they logged while riding their bicycles together. I am so very sorry, Marita. Steve was a good man and is sorely missed. Lovingly, Suzy

  10. CandleImageDear Marita,
I am so very sorry for the loss of Steve. He was a talented musician, a good friend and a character!
He will be sorely missed and very fondly remembered. You and he were a wonderful compliment to one another, now steady on my friend, as he would expect.
    Much love, Karen

  11. As you know, Marita, Steve and I made many great memories together on our hunting ventures, along with the nicknames we had for each other. I can’t tell you how sad I am for your loss. May God bless you and his family and give you peace and comfort.

    • Thanks John (WD). I heard many of those fun and crazy stories. I am glad you were able to make these memories and called him your friend. Steve was a wonderful man and will be missed by many. His generosity and love of making people smile will not be forgotten. Marita
