  1. I am so sad to just now be seeing this, I grew up playing with Stephen and Andy until we moved to Kansas, sadly I was only 7 when we left the farm. I have often thought about Stephen through the years. My heart is truly saddened to know that another childhood friend has passed.

  2. Jamie, Mike and family, my sincere sympathy to you and yours over the tragic loss of Stephen. So sudden but he is at peace with the Lord. Fondly, Midge

  4. I have known Stephen and Vicky for along time and I have had alot of conversations with him over the years. He was a very nice man who loved his family. Stephen you are safe in the arms of an angel and you are no longer in pain. I will miss you and I know that your mother will give Auston the love you had. Bless your family. I will remember the dash you lived. Dorothy Brock

  5. Working with Vicky, has helped me to learn how wonderful Stephen was as her son and a father. All of us here at Desert Sage are saddened at the loss of Stephen and the wish to extend our prayers to Vicky and Auston and all Stephen’s family members.

  6. Saddened by the death of Stephen. He was one of my all time favorite students at Vineland Middle School. He was always laughing and so full of life and jokes as a young man. When I bought a couple of small ponies for my son, Stephen helped me clean the stalls and stack hay. At the time, I had an old pickup and taught him to drive it across the pasture when we went to work with the ponies. He was so willing to help and I appreciated his enthusiasm to help his teacher and her son! He was just a very special young man! Stephen and I reconnected on Facebook and he sent me a private message telling me all about his son, Auston, and how very proud he was of him. He was a very proud dad! I pray that God hold all of Stephen’s family in His hands and give them comfort through their memories of a fine young man who touched the hearts of so many. May God bless all of Stephen’s family and may heaven rejoice with the arrival of another one of God’s special angels. Blessings and prayers for all!
