  1. To find out your father passed away because your sister received a phone call from a collection agency looking for the executor of his estate is a pretty shitty way of finding out! Linda, I’m so hurt that you couldn’t find the courtesy to let us know our biological father was sick or even that he passed so we had the chance to go to his services. I know we haven’t had a relationship in probably 12 to 13 years, but I had tried reaching out a handful of times, all with no response. It hurt more and more every time I’d reach out and get no response, it made it harder and harder to reach out for fear of that rejection. I’m honestly sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how hard it is for you, considering how hard it is for me and we haven’t even seen or talked in over a decade. I’m truly hurt and amazed that at a time like this you couldn’t just set things aside to let us know what was going on. You robbed us of the chance to go to our biological fathers funeral services, and to me that’s extremely petty! Dad, I just want to say sorry our relationship ended for whatever reason, one I still don’t know why, but I never stopped loving or thinking about you. I love you dad, rest in peace.

  2. How sad that his children were never notified of his death . Ed & I were college friends and were sorry to get the news.

  3. Our condolences to you and your family, I wish we had got to know Stan better, Just know that you are never alone. I am here for you, you have my number and are welcome to call on me at any time. Our prayers of comfort are coming your way.

  4. So sorry Linda! This is a difficult time for you and I pray your faith makes it easier. Stan was too young in age and spirit! I always enjoyed the email jokes he sent! They brightened the day!

  5. Linda! I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved husband and Captain Awesome. I know how much you 2 enjoyed your lovely marriage. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are happening for you here in the Rocky Mountains. Wish I could join the celebration of his life on Friday, but we are scheduled for our Guest Services job that day. May he rest in peace and may your memories of your life together surround you ad comfort you. It sure has been a tough year for you. Praying you are well and able to golf whenever the weather permits. I’m sure he will be there with you while you make those awesome shots 🙂
Peace be with you and may God Bless you in every way.
    Priscilla
