Soon Fong

Soon Fong, passed away June 2, 2000. Survived by his wife, Sui Fong of the family home, shildren, Peggy Wilson, Denver, Arthur (Christine) Fong, Colorado Springs, Dean Fong, Denver, Luke Fong of Pueblo, grandchildren, Heather Fong, Chanda (Brian)Chatham, Jason Wilson and great grandson, Alex Chatham. Preceded in death by 2 sisters in China. Born January 13, 1921 in Canton, China. He came to the United states in 1937 and was a longtime Pueblo resident. Veteran of the US Air Force during WWII. Member of the VFW Post No. 61. Soon & Sui owned and operated Soon's Restaurant for many years until their retirement. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 4, 2000 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
