Shirley Marie (Goodhead) Mangin went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2008. She was born July 16, 1933, to Howard and Lennie Goodhead in Florence, Colorado. Shirley left behind a loving husband of 55 years, Robert Moran Mangin. They were united in marriage on Dec. 16, 1952. Shirley and Robert had five children, R. Donald (Kelley), Howard D. (Elizabeth), Cheryl Ann (deceased), David K. (Sue) and Kathleen (Dennis) Spinuzzi. They also have seven grandchildren, Lara (Ron) Dockery, Jarrod Mangin (deceased), Josh and Jonathan Mangin, Taylor and Nicole Spinuzzi, and Michael Mangin; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Mangin, Charise (Dave) Dockery and Ron Dockery Jr.; and one great-great grandchild, Mia Jimenez. Along with devoted care to her family, Shirley served as an RN at St. Mary Corwin Hospital for 18 years. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 85 Stanford, with the Reverend Kim James officiating. Relatives and friends will be received, after the service, in the church's fellowship hall.
