Shirley Louise Cadwell, 84, passed away on October 27, 2010. Survived by her husband, Charles Cadwell of the family home; son, Jim (Shirley) Cadwell; granddaughter, Samantha Cadwell, all of Southern California; sister, Charlene Salmans of Pueblo; brother, Cliff Bailey of Pueblo; sisters-in-law, Helen (Bob) Veith of Southern California and Emma Morgan of Oregon; brother-in-law, John Cadwell of Chicago, Ill.; nieces, Janie Dean of Pueblo, Joan (Louis) Esquibel of Castle Rock, Colo., Teena (Jim) Smith of Florida, Cathy Gaines of California and Betty Kennedy of Southern California; nephews, John (Roxann) Cadwell of Pueblo and Wes (Barbie) Salmans of Virginia. Shirley was born April 4, 1926, in Denver, to Cliff and Hazen Bailey. She loved arts, crafts and music. Her church and her faith were very important to her. Shirley's main interest was her family and taking care of them. She put her family's needs first. Viewing, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Teena and I join you in honoring the memories of Aunt Shirley. She was loved by us and we treasure those fun times at her and Uncle Chick’s home out east of town. She always had fun things for Jimmy and Franklin to do as evidenced by our photo albums. Please accept our sympathies during this time. Love Jim & Teena.
Aunt Shirley, you will truly be missed. I love the picture in it I can still see the glint in your eyes that ment something was going to happen.
