Sharon Kay Burfford, 75, joined her beloved Daddy on July 1, 2016. Born May 25, 1941, in Pueblo, to Lester and Kathleen Burfford. Preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Carol Burfford; aunt, Marie Kindred; and cousin, Danny Stratton. Survived by her loving cousin, Joan Maggs Barros; beloved companion, Snuggles; special friend and hairdresser, Richard Alarid; also, friend and co-worker Donna Beerbower. Sincere thanks to Dr. Gaide; nurse, Rachel; the ER and ICU staff at St. Mary Corwin Hospital for their love and compassion. She loved her work as a parapro at School District 60 for 28 years; working with hearing impaired and special needs children. No public services. Yes, my beloved cousin went to join her Daddy and the rest of our family in Heaven. I know she is just smiling like crazy and giving her Daddy big hugs and kisses. I will miss her terribly but now she is no longer struggling and in pain here earth. Lots of good memories to keep her memory alive though!!
