Sharon A. Dykstra, 70, passed away Sept.13, 2013. Survived by her daughter, Deb (Ken) Vance of Bailey, Colo., and a sister, Patricia (Denny) Stanton of Mesquite, Nev. Preceded in death by her parents, Donald E. and Lona E. (Scribner) Power; husband, Gary Dykstra; and a brother, Donald E. Power, Jr. She was born August 16, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked at Convergys in Pueblo, Tru Green Landcare in Englewood, and Bank of America in Aurora, Colo. Sharon enjoyed reading, cross stitching of all sizes, from bookmarks to larger framed pieces, and Bible study. She was a member of Mountain Shadows Baptist Church. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Mountain Shadows Baptist Church, 947 Gants Fort Ave., Pueblo West, Colo., with Pastor James Mitchell officiating.
