Scott Joseph Francis, 35, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 9, 2010. Survived by his father, Edmund L. (Stephanie Carter) Francis; siblings, Kevin (Mary) Francis, Brett Francis and Alisa (Tim) Dabbert. Preceded in death by his mother. Scott was born to Ed and Treesa Nickell Francis August 21, 1974, in Pueblo. He enjoyed walking, reading, music, tennis and especially his time of meditation. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 5 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Darron Wilson officiating. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Ronald McDonald House through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.   1. Scott was always a sweetheart when he would come in to my work. He was sweet, as well as always polite. You will be missed Scott! …And the beard was fun while it lasted.

    I was saddened to hear about the passing of Scott. I remember the Francis family living by my grandparent’s on Mass St. Scott was a kind, loving, intelligient person. I have many fond memories of hanging out at the tennis courts with Mr. Francis and family. He is with his mother now and at peace. May God be with you during this difficult time.   11. I went to school with Scott for Elementary and Middle Schools. He was such a neat person to know. Thoughtful and caring, and especially funny. Always a consistent friend.

  12. Scott was a couple of years ahead of me in shcool, so I did not know him very well. But losing anyone, especially someone as young as Scott, is difficult for everyone. I am so very sorry for your loss, there just are not words. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

  19. My heart goes out to the Francis family. I was shock to hear of such news of Scott passing away. I grew up with Brett, Kevin, Scott and Alisa on Mass St. in Belmont. Scott was the smartest kid on our block and also the nicest. My heart and preys goes out to the whole Francis family. It is such a tragedy to loose some one when their in the prime of their life.
