Sarah E. Connelley, 83, passed away April 6, 2000. Survived by her daughters, Dortha (Jerry) Britton of Aurora, Colorado, Ruth Ann Dowd of Pueblo and Martha (Wayne) Yaden of Quilcene, Washington; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and numerous friends. Sarah was born August 5, 1916, in Harrington, Delaware.
Member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. At her request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Rogers officiating.
This was a surprise to me when I logged onto this website and saw your Mother’s memorial. I am sorry she passed on. I know she is in a far better place than here. I remember her getting the neighborhood children together and the bonfires and weiner roasts we had. I talk to others about our neighborhood and how much fun she brought to me. Thank you for sharing your Mother with us. I always felt like I had older sisters with you three girls across the street. She will always be “Sally” to me.
