Sam Reniker, 93, of Pueblo, passed away May 9, 2015, to join his life partner, Lorraine, in Heaven. Preceded in death by M. Lorraine Pike, his soul mate, who called Sam her 'Earth Angel.' They were together in joy and happiness for almost 30 years. Sam was also preceded in death by two wives and a brother and sister. Survived by his adopted family, Bill and Shirley Pike of Colorado Springs and Bill's ex-wife, Jewelie Pike of Seattle, Wash. He has two granddaughters, Elizabeth Pike (Brian) Thorpe of Colorado Springs and Lisa Pike (Sergeant Mike) Jones of Spokane, Wash. Just before his passing, a great-granddaughter, Kira Lorraine Jones, was born. Many other nieces, nephews and cousins of the Pike and Storm families loved him for his generous, helpful and kind demeanor. He was a loving caregiver to Lorraine. Sam had no children from his previous marriages. Sam was a retired railroad employee, a truck driver and operated his own home remodeling business. He served four years in the Coast Guard during WWII. In addition, he was a life member of the American Legion. There will be no viewing. Interment, 2 p.m. Friday at Imperial Memorial Gardens. A memorial celebration of his life, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Rev. Kirsten Barlow officiating.   1. Sam was such a kind, caring man. He loved and cared for my Aunt Lorraine for many years. Myself and my family are so grateful that we had hime in our lives. Bless Bill, Shirley, Beth and Lisa for all the love and care they provided to him in the last few years. I love you all very much.
