Guestbook

  1. Sam was such a wonderful man and musician. We played in countless sax sections and chamber music rehearsals and concerts
together, from 1964 (in Denver) onward.I shall miss his sense of humor, his generous heart and everything about him. My joyous career in Las Vegas in many respects wouldn’t ever have been possible, were it not for him. My wife and my prayers are with you, the entire Pisciotta family, in this terrible time.

  2. I just heard about my God fathers passing. I am so sad to here. I just received my x-mas card back in the mail that I sent him with “return to sender”, I instantly called Sam, and the phone is no longer in service. Sam will be deeply missed and I am so happy that we were able to reconnect after so many years. I will miss his wonderful smile. Sam you meant the world to me just as I told you during our lunch. My prayers and thoughts to your family. R.I.P. With all my love!! ďż˝

  3. So sorry about your loss. There have been so many over the years and our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
    Love,
    Rick and Deb Sagona

  4. Joann, Maryann and Bod, sending thoughts and prayers to all of you. It is so hard to lose a family member, but remember that Sam is with your mom and dad and the rest of your family. He is in heaven with them and one day you will all be together again. Angel

  5. I always felt connected to Sam Anthony. He and my brother Samuel James would jam at our house and I absolutely fell in love with jazz. I thank those jam sessions for spear heading me to dealve into vocal jazz and eventually become a vocal jazz director. Sams love for music was contagious. He had me listening to musicians I never knew existed. Sam was a loving cousin with a great sense of humor. Iloved him and his love of music. I’m sure he’s jamming in heaven as I write this. I will miss his smile and twinkling eyes.

  6. To The Pisciotta Family,
It is so hard to be the one left in sadness. Remember how well Sam loved you. Keep the memories close to your hearts. His talents in music, and his sharing his jokes I will always hear.
Sam had a special way with my son Bobby, having him visit in Las Vegas, sharing time with him and his family..
Steve and I got to visit him when he was home in Pueblo and we enjoy him so. Our prayers are with you. God Bless this loving family.
    Love
    Beverly

I am so sorry to hear about Sam Anthony. Even though I hadn’t seen him for a long time I remember him driving by our house in your Mom’s Cadillac and waving. His musical talent could not be surpassed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
    Love,
    Cousin Kathy

  9. My brother Sam. He was always there to guide me in so many avenues of life. He bought me my first car and continually advised me on every facet of life and overall, how to have a better life. Sam was my son Freddy’s Godfather and even when he was so sick, he would call Freddy a few times a week and engage him in wonderful discussions. He was so Strong, so Brave, there is no replacement. God has gained a special soul!

  10. Sam, the ache in my heart will not go away, I can\’t believe you are gone from our lives…you graced us with your wonderful heart and your music…you were the best brother anyone could ever have! Rest in peace until we meet again. Your loving sister, Mary Ann
