Sally Herrera, 82, passed away April 30, 2007. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jake Herrera; grandson, Elijah Daniel Garcia; her parents, Onesimo and Rogeria Pacheco; brothers, Julian, Robert, and Edward Pacheco; sister, Lillian; step-mother, Maclovia Pacheco; and sister-in-law Sadie Pacheco. Survived by her daughters, Evelyn (Brian) Urata of Los Angeles, Calif., Linda (Andrew) Rodriguez of Pueblo, and Janice (Frank) Garcia of Anaheim, Calif.; grandchildren, Andrew Rodriguez, Jr., Michele (David) Arellano, Brian Urata, Jr., Scott Urata and Charisa Celina Garcia; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Isaiah and Isabella Arellano and Nicholas Rodriguez; brothers, Nick (Nellie) Pacheco, Alfred (Ellen) Maldonado, Amadeo Pacheco, Gasper (Theresa) Pacheco, Frank (Silvia) Pacheco, Jerry Pacheco, Richard Pacheco; sisters, Florida Pacheco and Mary Dugan; sister-in-law Viola Pacheco; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was born on Sept. 5, 1924, in Walsenburg, Colo. to Onesimo and Rogeria Pacheco. She was a member of Praise Assembly of God, enjoyed cooking for her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sally and her husband were pastors for many years in Pueblo and in Calif. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Viewing, 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday and noon to 4 p.m. Friday in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Prayer service, 6:30 p.m. Friday with Pastor Orlando Vigil officiating. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, with the Pastor Bobby Wilson officiating.
