Ruth D. (nee Wiederecht) Gwinnup, 78, passed away January 14, 2000, in Pueblo, Colorado.
Survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Raymond Earl Gwinnup of the family home; children,
Ruth (Robert) Eggert of Pueblo, Rae (Rudy) Quintana of Littleton and Kevin (Sue) Gwinnup of
Chicago, Illinois; mother, Ernestine Wiederecht of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Betty DeVito, Elaine
(Phil) Walter and Lillian Harper; grandchildren, Rhonda (Craig) Espinoza, Julio Ricardo Gonzales,
Reneé (Mark) Lightcap, Raymond Earl Gonzales, Randi Jean (Anthony) Valenti Jr.; ten great-
grandchildren and Godson, Ed Harper. Ruth was born to Edwin and Ernestine (nee Neumann)
Wiederecht on September 26, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois. Ruth and Raymond were married on June
13, 1942. She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church. At her request, there will be no
viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 2:00
p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2000, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 275 W. John Powell Blvd. in
Pueblo West, with Pastor Don Barber officiating.
Ruth and Rob, Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I will never forget Ruth. She was also a pillar at
St. Nicolai UCC located in Chicago. She is missed by the whole Clothier family.
