Ruth Ann Ellis, 75, passed away October 11, 2001. Survived by her husband, Troy Ellis; children, David (Gail) Ellis of Salida, Colorado, John (Linda) Ellis of Pueblo, Chuck (Denise) Ellis of Brandon, Mississippi and Bill (Erika) Ellis of Palm Coast, Florida; sister, Roberta 'Bobbie' Geringer; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Don) Shipler of Silver Cliff, Colorado and Janice Ellis of Canon City, Colorado; grandchildren, Collette, Jason, Jessica, Christie, Riley, Nick, Andrea, Sean and Jordan Ellis; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of neighborhood friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Frances (née Beauvais) Eberling; sister, Rita Williams; brother, Walt Eberling; and brothers-in-law, Harry Geringer , Harold Williams, Shelby Ellis and Bob Ellis; sister-in-law, RoseAnn Ellis. Ruth was born January 4, 1926, in Denver, Colorado and moved to Pueblo with her family when she was a young child. She was married to Troy for forty-six years. Ruth was a full-time homemaker, raising four boys and was passionate about her gardening. She loved to spend time with family, especially with her sister, Bobbie, her four children and nine grandchildren, niece, Kris (Vick) Medina and countless other relatives. She was a member of Christ The King Church. There will be no viewing. At her request, cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. An inurnment will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2001, at Mountain View Chapel Mausoleum, 1315 Acero, with the funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at Montgomery & Steward Chapel, 1317 N. Main, with Reverend Father Ron Roche officiating. The family will receive friends at 14 Deer Run Court, following the funeral service. Those who desire may make memorials to American Heart Association, through the funeral home.
