Russell Rohrer, 79, passed away on July 11, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lucinda “Cindy” Rohrer; children, Kurt Krech, Diana (Terry), Deborah (Troy) and Richard (Wendy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Duane, Helen (Kip) and Darlene (Butch); and many other relatives and friends too numerous to name. Preceded in death by his first wife, Renate Rohrer; sons, Mark and Leon; parents; brother, Bob; and sister, Lorraine. Russell was born to Charles and Helen Rohrer on April 21, 1942, in Chinook, Mont. He was a career military man serving in the U.S. Army, receiving the Silver Cross and Purple Heart among many other commendations. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2827 Lakeview Ave. followed by interment at 2 p.m. in the Florissant Cemetery.
