Ross R. Garcia, April 23, 1929 - Aug. 25, 2012. Survived by wife, Mary Jo Garcia; children, Moses (Stella), Belinda (Mick), Frank (Carol), Judy (Gary), Matt, Jessica and Rosie (Robert); siblings, Joseph 'Pepe' Garcia, Eva Jimenez and Theresa Escobedo; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul M. and Agapita Garcia; brothers, Paul 'Sam' Garcia and Louie Garcia. Viewing from 12 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Rosary, 7 p.m. Wednesday and funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2012. Both services at Holy Family Church, 2827 Lakeview Ave. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team and interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Mickey and Belinda, I wish we could all be there with you and the rest of the family.I so loved Dad Ross in the too short time I knew him. I thank God for him and the way he accepted you(Mick)into his family. He will be so missed but God made a special place for him and brought him back home.God will give you and the family the strength needed to get thru this.Ross will be waiting for all of us to join him at our given times.So,this is not the end but the beginning of a new life for him. Dear sister Mary Jo and family ~
Kim and I are deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Ross . We know Ross is at peace and in a better place , but that still can not take away the pain of loosing someone so near and so dear to us. We wish you strength and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ. We wish we could be there to help in any way , but illness keeps us here. We love you and will be thinking of you . God bless you all .
