Ross Evan Cockrell, 87, native of Tulsa, Okla., who has lived at Sharmar Village in Pueblo since 2003. Survived by his daughter, Laurie Krause of Eaton, Colo.; son, David (Jude LaFollette) Cockrell of Pueblo; grandchildren, Ary and Neva Cockrell; and two brothers, Louis Eugene (Peggy) Cockrell of Tulsa and James L. (Peggy) Cockrell of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Cockrell.
Ross was a sharp dresser, lover of jazz and fisher of the Arkansas River. He was a scholar of life and a generous contributor to the social good.
At his request, cremation at Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service to be held later in Tulsa, Okla.
