Rosemary "Rosie" Christina Mena

Rosemary “Rosie” Christina Mena, 61, died unexpectedly on August 20, 2022, with loved ones around. She was born on March 23, 1961, in Denver where she grew up. Rosie married Cory Mena on August 7, 1993, and enjoyed their 29 years together as husband and wife. They started a family that she loved and was so grateful for. She loved watching sports and playing games with her husband and two girls. She was incredibly kind and warm. She was always there to listen and had a way of making those she cared about smile and feel loved. Her spirit, smile, and loving energy will be greatly missed.

Rosie is survived by her beloved husband, Cory ‘Palsy’ Mena; her adoring daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jorge Mier, and little munchkin, Andrea Mena; as well as her loving mother, Alice Carter; and brother, Graham Carter.

A reception will be held Saturday, October 1, at the Rosemount Carriage House on the corner of 15th and Grand. A bagpipe performance will start at 10:30 a.m. to honor her Scottish heritage and snacks and memories will start at 11 a.m. Feel free to wear flowers or bright colors to honor her.
