Ron La Savio, 72, passed away on June 23, 2019. Survived by wife, Linda La Savio; sons, David La Savio and Daniel (Elizabeth) La Savio; granddaughter, Olivia La Savio; mother, Sara La Savio; brother, Fred (Patricia) La Savio; brothers-in-law, Mike (Rosalie) Granato, Fred (Rita) Granato and John Granato; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Preceded in death by father, Anthony La Savio; in-laws, Fred and Julia Granato; and nephew, Zachary La Savio. Ron was born to Anthony and Sara La Savio on Nov. 24, 1946, in Pueblo, Colo. He enjoyed family gatherings, hunting, fishing and golfing. Competing in car shows with his friends was his favorite pastime. Ron was a member of National Street Rod Association, the Outlaws Car Club and a lifelong member of the Elks. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Vialpando, Dr. Muath Dawod, Dr. Gerald Falchook and nurses. At the family's request there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at St. Joseph's Church, 1145 S. Aspen Rd. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.   1. My memories of Ron from high school years include sitting on your parents front porch talking for hours about cars and friends. Ron and Fred are a big part of my Pueblo memories.

  6. Our deepest sympathies to you, Linda, and your family. Ron was a special soul and one of the really good guys. We loved his sense of humor and will miss his many funny emails. He was a trooper on our Colorado NSRA Safety Team which he truly loved the sport of street rodding in his old car. May he ride on- on the streets of gold in heaven. He will be deeply missed. Our sincere condolences.

  7. I remember Ron, as a very young boy, working with him at Araphoe. Then again at Safeway. We become close friends during this time. Recently visited with him briefly at IHOP, a few months ago. Never realizing that that would be the last time I saw him. Very special to everyone, and will miss him greatly. Larry Whittemore and Family.

    My heart breaks for you and your family, you are in my thoughts! Ron was loved by so many people and truly a good friend to us! I can still remember when we all went to Las Vegas, how much fun we had and how much we laughed, especially at Ron’s slippers!
    We will be thinking of you tomorrow and always, Allen and I are in Texas and won’t make the service. I will be checking on you. Love both of you, Vickie
