Ronald Gene Fields, 77, passed away December 15, 2023. Survived by his wife, Anna Jean Fields; daughter, Cheryl A. Miller; son, Michael A. Fields; granddaughters, Cecelia M. Aronhalt and Ericka Floerke; and great- grandson, Johnny Aronhalt.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Thelma Fields; brothers, Charles Fields, Robert Fields, Edward Fields and Herman Fields; and sisters, Dorothy Barrett and Beverly (Jodie) Clearwater.
Ronald was born November 28, 1946, in Osawatomie, Kan. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a millwright at CF&I and as a mail-handler for the US Postal Service. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, morning coffee and gossip at Southwest Grill. He was a member of American Legion, DAV and Mesa Shooting Club.
No visitation, no service. Interment at a later date. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516

  1. So sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. We loved being his neighbor and sharing stories. The kids loved going and showing him everything they were doing. He was a great man and will be missed.

  4. I hadn’t seen Ron in a few years. I worked in the office at the American Legion Post 2 for years. When Ron would come in to pay his dues or just stopping in to say hello to all of us in office he was such a friendly and nice man.
    My prayers are with you and the family.
