ROBERT WILLIAM STURTEVANT, 94

August 12,1926 – November 4, 2020

The Sturtevant Family announces with great sadness and much love the passing of Robert William Sturtevant on November 4, 2020 at the age of 94 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Robert Lee and his wife, Betty and John (Stu) and his wife, Sally.  His favorite pet cat, Baby, will also miss him a lot. Mr. Sturtevant was preceded by his wife Patsy Lee Sturtevant. Bob was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and served in the United States Navy from August 4, 1944 to June 21, 1946.  He then worked as a Craneman at the CF&I – Colorado Fuel and Iron for 36 years. Bob took pride in being a Navy veteran and working as a Craneman at the CF&I.  After work he enjoyed shooting pool and drinking beer with his buddies. He was great at telling jokes.  Bob’s passion was building street rods and working on his projects around the house.   Bob loved his cat Baby, his pickup, and his home on the St. Charles Mesa.  Bob liked to help people and was a great friend. He wished that his body be cremated at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors Inc. Pueblo, Colorado.  Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, there will be no private viewings.

“We will always carry your memories in our hearts.  Rest in peace, Pappy.”
