Robert W. Hatton, 57, passed away July 15, 2008. Survived by his wife, Janet Hatton; children, Kiera and Liz; granddaughter, Midori; mother, Betty Hatton; sisters, Meg (Mike) Versteeg and Cathy Hatton; brother, John (Frankie) Hatton; brother-in-law, Terry (Nelli) Mendenhall; uncles and aunts, Bill and June Hatton, Dick and Mae Vinci, and Marian Putnam. Preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Hatton; parents-in-law, Samatha and Mark Mendenhall. Bob was born Nov. 16, 1950, in Pueblo. He was employed in pharmaceutical sales management. He was a 11 year survivor of a double lung implant. Second only to his family, Bob loved fishing. He was a phenomenal chef who loved to cook for his loved ones. He was a true poet, father, husband and fisherman. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends, especially his closest friends, Sal Piscitelli, Tim O'Connor, Frank Jannace and Valerie Trujillo. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at First Methodist Church with the Reverend Dr. Rick Calhoun and Reverend Jean Schwein officiating. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers. Memorials may be made to ARC of Pueblo or First United Methodist Church, in care of Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.   3. I’m so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I went to grade school, Jr. High and High School with him. My mother and Betty worked in PTA together. I have not kept in touch with many of my class mates, but am always saddened when tragedy strikes them and their families. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your loved one, Bob. My prayers go out to your family.
