Robert W. Ballou passed away November 4, 2002. He died unexpectedly in his favorite place, on the side of a mountain in a hunting camp. Bob was born
January 4,1930, in Manzanola,Colorado to Evelyn Shirley and William Ballou. He retired from the
Santa Fe Railroad in 1992 after 46 years of service. His many hobbies include woodworking, gardening and hunting. His family was his greatest source of pride and love. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 37 years, Patty; daughters, Carol (Don) Roberts, Joyce (Sparky)Johnson, Jean (Bill) Wait, Lynda Ballou
and Mary Scofield; grandchildren, Terrie
Dye, Mark and Brian Roberts, Keith and Eric Wait, Ellen Ballou, Kaylyn, Edye and Greta Scofield; great-grandchildren, Samantha Roberts, Nikki Dye, Amanda and Ashley Roberts; brother, Richard (Lynn)
Ballou; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Darrell) Lindsey and Kathy (Frank) Witty; mother-in-law, Alberta Singleterry; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ballou, son, Ronald Ballou; his parents; sisters, Lois Bamber and Barbara McEndree; and brothers-in-
law, Grover Bamber and Clyde McEndree.There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m.
Friday, November 8, 2002, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Robert Barr officiating.
