Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. It’s been almost a year now. Bob passed on May 27. It seems like yesterday and yet this has been the longest year of my life. I miss his laughter, his energy and him calling me “his little brother.” I pray he is in a much better place. He’s loved by many and missed by all.

  2. Yesterday was your birthday brother. Your smile, wit and wisdow are truly missed. This world is not the same without Robert “Spyder” Lucero. He is truly loved.

  3. Spyder was a very dear friend for all of those years in California. I met Syder through Mickey when we lived in Mix Canyon and we became instant friends, but of course this was the way it was for everyone that met Spyder. He had the ability to make you feel like you were his very best friend, actually we all were; his friendship was too big to keep to yourself.
Spyder was a very talented individual, whether singing, songwriting, helping whenever needed or just giving of himself to others. I wish a little or maybe a lot of Spyder could rub off on more of us, the world would be a happier place.
My heartfelt condolences to Sypder’s family and friends for this loss of such a “loved one”. RIP Spyder.

  4. Isabel and Greg…I am so sorry for your loss, you both know I loved Bobby more than words could ever express. Everyone should be as fortunate as I was to have had a friend like Bobby for more than 35 years. I will always treasure the memories we shared.

Bobby, I love you and miss you, I will see you again my friend.
    Forever in Christ,
    Randy Davis

  5. Dear Lucero Family:

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I feel I know Spyder from all the great “big brother” stories Gov would tell me. He will be missed so much.

  6. I remember the times when Spyder, Carole and I plus the whole gang would go to the Pueblo Drive-in and he would have all of us laughing, his white scarf wrapped around his neck, having the speaker in his hand acting like he was a movie director and say “oh you silly rabbit”. He always seem to make us smile. Thanks Spyder!

  7. I send my deepest condolences to all of Robert’s family and friends for this great loss. I am so grateful Spyder and I got to say hello again this past year and spend the brief time together we did, it was wonderful to catch up.
I regret we didn’t get to say goodbye, my friend.
Until we meet again, I will keep the faith.
    God bless you.

  8. Greg and Mrs Lucero, I just want to express my deepest condolences. Spyder was such a great guy that in all these years I never knew his name was Robert. It never occur to me to even ask what his name was because when Spyder was around, he would make everybody feel so special and thats all that really matter.

  9. To all of Bobs family we are very saddened on the loss of your loved one.We do miss him and am glad to have known him. May God Bless you and keep you in the days ahead.

  10. Isabel and Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Spyder has been a part of my life since I was a baby, and he will be so missed.
    Our prayers are with you.
    Love,
    Carrie (Davis) Gudanowski & Family

  11. My thoughts are with you. I remember Spyder singing “Stairway to Heaven” so many times back in 1972. I am sad because he walked that stairway to early in his life. But I am sure he was singing all the way! I will miss you Spyder.

  12. To Spyder’s mother Isabel, his special friend Carolyn and his loving family I am so sad losing a good friend, but I guess God needed another angel up in Heaven. Spyder you will be missed!

  13. For Isabel, Carolyn, Greg and all of Spyder’s family and friends, bless you. The world is a little less than before without him here. Say hi to Wrecks for me Spydie, kiss Jimmy on his head, and remember….”ain’t nothin’ but a chicken wing” Love you

  14. Bob was family. He brought a life and spirit to the times we were together. He will be missed.

  15. May you always remember the good times. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends.
    Mike and Sebrena

  16. I am so sorry for us all for the loss of our beautiful Spydie. I am so glad that we reconnected but sad that there is no more time. Let’s all hang on tightly to one another – what keeps running through my head is the crazy song from high school, not sure who made it up – “Spiderman, Spiderman, has long hair like a hippie can”! Love you, rest in peace

  17. Spyder …. a man of grace and strength with the heart to help anyone with anything. Never heard you say a cross word about anyone. We’re going to miss you, Spydie ….

Love and prayers as you pass to the next great place,
    “Muffy and Biff”

  18. I’m very sorry that your brother, son, uncle and friend passed away. Although I didn’t know him well, I know he was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed. Love, Robin

  19. Iam sorry to hear of the passing of your Loved one. My heart will always be grateful to the memories I have, both in California and Colorado. May God comfort all the family and friends during the loss of this great man. My memories will always stay close to my heart…

  21. I just can’t find the words to tell you what a great friend and brother you have been to me. I’m just so happy that we were able to work together last fall. Having you there was like no time had passed from our youth til now. The bond was made very strong. You are very special not only to me but to everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting you. You shall grace the heavens my friend.
