Robert H. Warren, 81, passed away January 28, 2010, with family and friends around him in the home he built 55 years ago. Robert was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Fort Lyons, Colo. Survived by his loving wife of 63years, Shirley Jean; daughter, Patti Friedell-Martin; son-in-law, Harvey Beach; grandkids, Shane Beach, Kim Beach-Quick, and Tina Friedell; three great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert is also survived by sisters, Madge Beggs, Elaine Stewart, Sylvia Grasmic, Carol Millard, Joyce Toon; brothers, Don, Ron and Roger Warren and their families. Also special friends, Emit Seal, Max Flint, and the late Dr. Stan Childers. Preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Beach; son-in-law, James W. Martin; sister, Helen Fields; and brother, Emil and Charles. Robert served in the U.S. Army-Air Corps during World War II. He was a 50 year member of Silver State Lodge No. 95, A.F. & A.M. Robert loved his profession, a master electrician for 60 years with the IBEW Local Union No. 12. He also enjoyed teaching electronics in the '60's' at Southern Colorado State College. Robert loved fishing and hunting. People called him the 'Great White Hunter.' He loved sports and would watch three different TVs all tuned to different games and golf. Robert was the most talented 'Mr. Fix-it.' He loved a challenge, and could fix anything. Our family would like to thank Dr. I. Kedlaya, Dr. M. T. Sumpter, Dr. Hansa, Parkview Hospital and the Sangre de Cristo Hospice for the loving care given to Robert. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Darron Wilson officiating followed by a refreshments reception. In lieu of food, memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Praise Assembly of God through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.     I am so sorry to read about Robert’s passing. It looks as if you all have had some sad times with deaths the last few years. I often think of you all from my childhood days. I certainly spent some special times at your home. Thank you for those great times.
