Robert Gene 'Bob' Parks, 83, departed this life on March 13, 2017, at peace with God and family. He was lovingly described as honest, trustworthy and patriotic. Born to Julia and Hershell 'Jack' Parks on August 9, 1933. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Marianne 'Mia'; and son, Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia 'Fifi'; his children, Michael (Melissa), Julianna (Randy Cole) and Thomas's widow, Niki; as well as seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his stepchildren, John Dye (Hilary), Debbie (Dan Morton), Shelly (Scott Clark), Becky (Scott Wright), Steve Dye (Leeann); ten step-grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Brown and Jackie Toton. Bob served his country proudly for 21 years in Europe and Asia, retiring as Chief Warrant Officer in 1974. He was passionate about reading, golf, family and exploring new frontiers. Bob wishes to thank the Pueblo Country Club for providing competition, camaraderie and lasting friendships, especially Bob Silva and John Doidge. Interment and full military honors, 2:30 p.m. March 27, 2017, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B, in Denver. Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
