Robert G. 'Bob' Smith, 81. Born Feb. 23, 1933, passed away Sept. 28, 2014. Bob was a teacher and contractor in Pueblo for many years. Before coming to Pueblo, he played football at Nebraska and for the Cleveland Browns. He loved playing golf, fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. Some of his favorite times were in the mountains camping with friends and family. Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sharon; children, Kathy (Bill) Vail, Lori (Lynn) Belcher, Cindy (Bryan) Wilson and Scott (Kathy) Smith. He has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There will be an open house for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct., 5, 2014, at the Rosemount Carriage House, 406 W. 15th St. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. Way, Pueblo, CO 81005 or the Alzheimers Association, 4104 Outlook Blvd., Building B, Pueblo, CO 81008.
