Rita Louise (Roque) VanRemmen, 44, went home to our Father on April 27, 2006, at her home in Castle Rock, Colo. Born in 1961 in the village of Puli, Taiwan, Republic of China; she joined the Roque family at the age of two. She was a free spirit who loved life. She was a true 'people -person' and loved to travel and explore. She is survived by her 'Pops' Lou Roque, CPO, USN (Ret.) and her mom, Marty; her beloved children, Sabrina VanRemmen Davis, Samantha VanRemmen and Louis A. Roque, Jr., SN, USN; and the twinkle in her eye, grandson, Kaden Davis. To celebrate her life she leaves behind her Padrinos, Rita and Sam Albert and Buzz and Rosie Siddell; her loving family in Pueblo and beyond; many friends and loved ones throughout the world. Recitation of the Rosary, 7 p.m. Friday and memorial Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006. Both services at St. Pius X Parish, 3130 Morris Ave. Private inurnment, Mountain View Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rita Roque VanRemmen Memorial fund through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colorado 81003.
