Richard W. Strah, 68, passed away September 2, 2014. Survived by wife of 48 years, Sandra; children, John (Brandie) Strah, Jerri (David) Warren, Jim (Shauna) Strah, Jeffrey (Lynn) Strah; grandchildren, Joshua Warren, Jillian Warren, Danielle Wheeler-Gillette, Blake Strah and Vince Strah; sister, Debbie (Jim) Centa; mother, Verna (Ken) Carter; and nephew, Ryan Butler. Preceded in death by father, Edward J. Strah. Richard was born on December 12, 1945, in Pueblo. He had a lifelong hobby of working with cars with his father that he passed down to his own sons. Richard retired as Chief Operating Officer from Acorn Petroleum after 37 years in the fuel and oil wholesale industry. At his request there will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. Way, Pueblo, CO 81005.   1. Sandra,john ,jerri,jim ,jeff sorry to hear about richard’s passing.I remember richard helping john work on his chevelle or nova in high school and complaining about the “quadra junk”,i.e. quadra jet carburetor being worthless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He was a real car guy that will be sorely missed .

  13. Just wanted to thank Rich for everything he did for me. He gave me a job and helped me start a new life. There are no words for my gratitude for this man. Hopefully in the future I will be lucky enough and see him again, but for now rest peacefully my mentor. You will be missed.
