Richard Thomas King, 66. Born May 29, 1948, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada to Bruce Thomas and Pauline Witbeck King. Passed away May 30, 2014, at Murray, Utah, surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife, Marcia King; sons, Robert (Diana), Jared (Summer), Jonathan (Lindsay), Ash (Ashlyn) King; daughter, Christin Anderson (Ryan); sister, Carolyn Gorwill (Hugh); 17 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Preceded in death by parents. His 30+ year career in psychiatric social work LCSW II included Parkview Medical Center adult psych and CMHIP child and adolescent units and geriatrics. He loved gardening, guitars, music, and cats. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Church service included New England States mission and bishop of Pueblo First Ward. Visitation/viewing, 9 a.m. and funeral, 10 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014, both at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1411 W. Fortino Blvd. Interment, Imperial Gardens. We were deeply saddened to hear of Richard’s passing. Richard was a dear friend who had helped me a lot when I was a Bishop many years ago. Terry and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. May the Spirit of the Lord be with Marcia and the rest of Richard’s family during the weeks and months to come.
