Richard “Ricardo” Jesus Hernandez, 91, passed away June 20, 2021. Survived by his brothers, John (Gloria) Hernandez and Bobby (Dulcy) Hernandez; daughters, Rosanna (Scott), Debbie (Mark) and Liz (Jack); grandchildren, Richard, Natasha, Aaron, Justin Brittany and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Erin and Ella; and wife, Ercilia Hernandez. Preceded in death by daughters, Irene Gutierrez and Sophia Hernandez; and brothers, Joe Hernandez, Tom Hernandez and Carlos Hernandez. Richard was born to Jesus and Mary Hernandez on September 24, 1929, in Pueblo and retired from the CF&I after 37 years of service and he also worked at the Pueblo Army Depot. He enjoyed traveling, family, telling stories of the “good ol’ days,” spending time with his brothers and fishing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Tuesday June 29, 2021, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com

      My mom used to breast feed me and your sister Jeaneatte and my dad would say make sure Rozanna has enough,AS my mom fed her.This skinny little girl always kicking and me a triple chin baby.Lots of stories to tell.All my love

  2. It was a beautiful service, and a loving tribute to my brother. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in his memorial. We will miss our brother now and always….P.S. he loved his parents and always told stories of his father. We loved hearing his stories! He had such a good memory….
