Richard Leonard Gonzales, beloved husband and father passed away unexpectedly Sunday Evening, May 6, 2018. 72 years old, Rich is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia; son Kevin (Amanda) Gonzales; five grandchildren; siblings, Martin (Daisy) Gonzales, Theresa (Arsenio) Sanchez, Margaret (Frank) Trujillo, all of Pueblo; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Walter G. and Mary A. Gonzales; sister, Margaret Eloise; and brother, Jim Gonzales. Rich was a decorated veteran of the US Army with service in Vietnam, business owner of DAJ Investments LLC, and former educator and principal with Pueblo's School District 60. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Christ the King Catholic Parish, 1708 Horseshoe Dr. In lieu of gifts and flowers, the family respectfully requests that contributions be made to Sangre De Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd., Pueblo, CO 81005 in Richard's name.
