Richard Eugene (Dick) Donley was called home suddenly by our Lord, surrounded by his loving family. Sunrise 15 March 1933 to R. T. Donley and Alice nee Dudley in Pueblo, Co. Sunset 09 Sept. 2008 at St. Anthony's Central Hospital, Denver, Colorado. Preceded in death by son Dennis Ray, 1993; father R. T. Donley, 1986. Survived by his loving wife, Dalene nee Gibbens. Married 02 Dec. 1955. Mother Alice nee Dudley, Colorado Springs, CO.; children, Daniel (Jannene), Bedford, TX.; Dana (Barry) Ferguson, Pueblo West; Dale, Westminster, CO.; sister, LaNita (Rick) Thorne, Monument, CO.; and Nadine Rizzo, South Carolina.; Grandchildren, Christy (Brad) Stacy, AR; Jennifer, MO; Kimberly, AR; Megan, AR; Matthew(Aimee), TX.; Jo el, TX.; Joshua, Jeremy and Jessica Ferguson of Pueblo West; great grandchildren, Jordan, Shilo, and Skye, AR. and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the Army, 1953-1955, retired from C.F.& I after 43 years. Member of Broadway Christian Church. Dick loved the outdoors, wildlife, fishing, collecting fossils and meteorites. He also loved to watch sports of many kinds. He was a godly, honorable man, a man of few words who led by example. His family was very important to him, and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service, 10:00 am Monday, September 15, 2008, Broadway Christian Church. Interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broadway Christian Church's building fund or your favorite charity through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.
