Richard A. 'Dick' Zittel, Sr., 77, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2006. Survived by his wife, Mabel Zittel; sons, Richard (Susan ) Zittel of Phoenix, AZ and Steve (Terry) Zittel of Pueblo; grandchildren, Richelle Zittel, Richard Zittel III, Heather Brozek, Jennifer Fox-Nelson and Laura Fox; great-grandchildren, Kenneth Zittel and Kendrick Fox; sister, Helen Bergemann of Napa, Idaho; sisters-in-law, Alice (Charles) Samples of Bowie, TX and Ida Velarde of Littleton, CO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dick was born October 5, 1928, in Pueblo, CO, to William and Susan Zittel. He was a member of Railroading Sams and attended the Sonrise Methodist Church. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A private family memorial service will be held.
