Richard A. Wood, Sr., 55, passed away April 8, 2008. Survived by his children, Misty (Mike) Fulton of Rye and Richard (Jamie) Wood, Jr. of Loveland, Colo.; brother, Ronald (Ann) Wood, Jr. of Kingston, Wash. ; and grandchildren, Richard A. Wood, III, Jack Fulton and Samantha Fulton. Richard was born to Iva and Ronald Wood, Sr. on Aug. 20, 1952, in Denver, and grew up in Pueblo. He retired, in 1979, as a heavy equipment mechanic for the State of Colorado. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed technology, building, hunting, fishing, racing motorcycles, drag racing, trail riding, camping and raising mules. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Viewing, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors. Graveside service, 1 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008, at Imperial Memorial Gardens with Bill Sturtevant officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.
