Reverend Thomas S. Bond, 70, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away June 18, 2006. Survived by his wife, Marion L. Bond of the family home; children, Lydia Bond, Samuel Bond and Benjamin Bond, all of Pueblo; step-mother, Helen Bond, Davenport, Iowa; and his sister, Garnet Current, Davenport, Iowa. Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel H. and Pearl Bond and his sister, Janice Petersen. Rev. Bond was born on November 11, 1935, in Davenport, Iowa. He and Marion were married on June 8, 1964, in Beach, North Dakota. In 1984, he moved his family to Pueblo and established the Wayside Cross Gospel - Rescue Mission. At his request, there will be no viewing. Private interment will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006, at the Belmont Church of the Nazarene, 1702 Bonforte Blvd., with Pastors Chuck Gibson and Mark Troyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorials to the Evangelical Church Alliance, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colorado 81003.     My deepest condolences, My mother is on dialysis I Saw Rev Bond and he was always so kind. I’ll miss him he would always say something to my mother and I when he was leaving. May God be with you. He did so much for people at the wayside. Take Care.
