Rebecca M. Gurley, 45, passed away July 11, 2003. Survived by her companion, Judy Archuleta of Pueblo; mother, Priscilla Gurley of Monte Vista, Colorado; sisters, Karen (Greg) Davis of Flagstaff, Arizona, April Marquez and Lisa Gurley, both of Monte Vista; nephews and nieces, Christopher Montoya, Heather and Scott Hertzing, Rumaldo Marguez and Andrea Sierra; great-nephews, Nicholas Hertzing and Joseph Sierra; great-niece, Katlin Hertzing; loving family of Rose and Eloy Franklin; numerous other family and friends.Preceded in death by her brother, Ernest D. Gurley, Jr. In 1981. Rebecca was born May 9, 1958, in Oakland, California. She was the store manager for South Side Kmart. Rebecca was an artist who loved reading, water sports, yard work, travel, and her passion was guitars. Member of Eagles Lodge No. 145. She will lie in state at the funeral home today from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
