Raymond M. Moroney, 72, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away Sept. 14, 2006. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta F. Moroney, in 2005. Survived by his children, Michael (Gina) Moroney of Highlands Ranch, Kathy (Dale) Purcell of Pueblo, Linda Moroney of Florence; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Vivian Roth of Reno, Nev., Marie (Joe) Robida of Rye, Carol Wallin of Castle Rock; and mother-in-law, Fern Wertz of Pueblo. Raymond was born to Michael and Ellen Moroney on August 20, 1934, in Pueblo. He worked in the automobile industry for over 40 years. He was the General Sales Manager for Fortino Jackson Chevrolet and later for Diodosio Motors. He was also a member of Eagles Aerie #145. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at Holy Family Church, 2827 Lakeview Ave., with Msgr. Ervin Schmitt as celebrant.
