Randy J. Valencia, 42, passed away Jan. 11, 2010. Survived by his mother, Catherine (Richard) Garbiso of Pueblo; father, Gene Valencia of Pueblo; children, Tyler S. Valencia and Trevor P. Valencia, both of Pueblo West; brothers, Scott (Aida) Valencia of Oak Harbor, Wash. and Kevin Valencia of Pueblo; nephews, Christopher and Ryan Valencia of Oak Harbor, Wash.; niece, Rosalie Garbiso of Pueblo; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Mabel Garcia, Ray and Flora Valencia. Randy was born May 15, 1967, in Pueblo. He was a mechanical engineer for ManTec. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor David Asch officiating. I have just found out that randy had died!!!! i’m totally devistaed!!my heart goes out to the family ,exspecially his two boys that he loved dearly and they loved him the same way!!!Randy you will be greatly missed, but i know you will be watching over everyone you knew and loved!!!   18. I’ve known Randy for about 7 years and he was a good friend of mine. We used to do alot of bike runs together and he was such a fun and great guy. I was in complete shock to hear the news and still am. I am so very sorry for your unfortunate loss. I will continue to keep Randy, his family, and his boys in my prayers.   24. Randy was more than a special friend, he was a giver. I remember when Holly’s brother,Richard Hanson, passsed away in 1987. Randy rode past all the cars in the funeral procession to each intersection & got off his bike to direct traffic.He was selfless,considerate & irreplaceable,a true friend.
    I met him in 1985 and we have shared a love & friendship that never waivered and never will, even in death. I miss & love him more than words can say.
    To all the “old schoolers”,try to remember the good times at Boob hill,Fairmount Park & the river bottom. My prayers are with his family & friends today & always.

  34. Our condolences to Uncle Randy’s family. He was very special. Anthony gave Randy the name Uncle Randy about 4 years ago and it stuck since then. We will miss the way he always made times we shared so funny! We are all lucky to have had a chance to be part of his life.
