  1. John:
I’m so sorry to hear of Randi’s passing. I haven’t seen you in years since we worked together at UNC PD but think of you often.

  2. So sorry, John, for your loss. It’s our loss, too, of course. I know she was a good friend to animals. We should carry on her work.

  3. Sure sorry to hear of Randi’s passing. We attended South High School together. Randi was always, so pleasant. May she rest in peace! đź•Š

  4. John, We are so very sorry to hear about Randi. May she rest in peace and our prayers go out to you and your family.

  5. Dear J,
I am saddened to hear of Randi’s passing. I remember carpooling together to SCSC, singing with the radio, and sharing our life plans and dreams. By all accounts, you and your marriage and life fulfilled these dreams. Randi always had such a positive outlook on life and a great sense of humor, of course, I do not need to tell you this as you knew her better than anyone. Even the most frigid day in history (your wedding day) could not cast a shadow on her outlook. We were such babies then, but Randi always seemed to know what she wanted and made plans to make it happen. May the love of everyone who cared for her help you through these tough times. You and Randi are in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. I had the privilege of being Randi’s “Cube-Mate”, sharing a cubicle wall between us for the better part of 20 years. She had a wonderful sense of humor, partnered with a cunning wit, and we never failed to crack ourselves up, to the detriment of the folks around us who we never let in on the jokes!

Apart from that, she was a fantastic co-worker who normally had the answer off the top of her head, she was that good.

She never forgot a birthday, and always made me a red velvet cake for mine. R2, I know that we’d been distant since the closure of the plant, but the memories we shared at R.R. Donnelley in the Penthouse will remain in my heart forever.

To J, you had a wonderful partner in life, and I know that she’ll be in your heart forever. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

    Roy “Wheels” Rodriquez.

  7. Randi (Pearl,) you were a true and authentic gem!
You were sometimes my partner in crime; laughing during the movie, “Exorcist,” and causing a stir during family poker games or any other games for that matter. I recall graduating together from UNC and the great party after. I remember sewing a bridemaids’s dress for you; it was not the easiest or best-made; however you were kind in telling me your dress was better than most of the others. Ha.
There are so many stories to tell about you my sister. And I am sure everyone of us will have more than one to share. But, mostly, I am so thankful for how you treated most people you encountered; particularly Mom and Suzie. My family and I will miss you dearly and rember the brightness, the love and wisdom you brought to J and all of your family. I just want to thank Traci and Doug and the rest of your Pueblo family for sharing you with us.
    Lovingly,
Pogo, Randy, Brandon, Billee, Rivers and Mikayla

  8. J, Traci, Doug, and Family, it seems like yesterday when Randi and J started dating and introduced me to the Beatles. Randi lived a good distance away but I always knew her to be a good friend. Peace be with you. Our sincere condolences to all of the family.
    Scott and Rhonda

  9. Randi, I will never forget your smiling face, sweet comments and delicious desserts at family gatherings over the years. I will always remember your kindness. Such a beautiful life!

  10. We have been friends with Randi for 46 years. Neighbors for eighteen of them. She was a true friend that would listen and she would give good advise when needed. She cared about you. Every time we were ill she was over with food for us. Nobody cooked like Randi. We will miss her terribly. John and Randi came to all birthday parties, graduations and weddings for our family because they were apart of our family. Our boys grew up eating Randi’s green chili and still do to this day with Randi’s recipe. Some people will always stay in your heart and Randi is one of them. Rest in peace with no more pain. Steve and Ann Holman

  11. My heartfelt thoughts and comfort to you, J, and all of Randi’s family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Randi!
