I was so happy when Community Residential took my suggestion to have my dentist Dr RJ be the dentist for all their clients. I knew he had the patience and personality to deal with all their problems and they all loved him. Me too for many years. I will miss him.

  5. You will be greatly missed Dr. Schultz. I’m in disbelief we won’t get to see you again. 🙁
You were a good boss to me when I was a young dental assistant so many years ago and a great dentist to me and my daughters later on. Our condolences to your family and staff. – Mindy, Melissa & Katie

  6. It was an honor and privilege to serve on many COMOM’s with RJ, he was a passionate servant to those in need, generous with his time and talents. Dr Kyle & Penny Schulz

  7. We all have exceptional moments in our lives that shine through the years. Such moments represent the highlights of our brief time on this earth. I had the great fortune of being one of RJ’s many friends at Pueblo Central, and our senior ditch day antics still carry a record of six such extraordinary moments in a single day. I verified this with my wife Robin, who confirmed that she had indeed heard each story several times (how does she put up with me?). Thank you, RJ, for being a great and memorable friend. You will never be forgotten.

  8. R.j. Was a great human being. Smoking cigars with him was the last time I saw him. We shared some pretty hilarious laughs & talked about the different kinds of cigars we all liked. We all drank some whiskey with him, and cheered to our friendships. May God rest his beautiful soul & may R.j. Rest In Peace forever & ever..amen. 🙏🏻💔😞

  9. I’m so sorry to hear this sad news! I may have been one if his earliest patients, way back when. He was a young dentist, and I appreciated his honesty, friendship, and great care.

  10. So sorry to hear of Dr. Schultz death. He took care of all my families teeth. We will all miss him. Guess we will try the replacement dentist. Glad his staff will stay and take care of us. God bless them all. Love all. 💘

  11. Dr. Schultz will be so missed. He also made me feel cared for and I felt like he and the team took care of me like family. So sorry for the loss for his family and for the amazing staff that worked with him all these years. This was more than just a dentist office, it was a place I knew I would be in the best care and that whatever was going on, I would be ok. Love you guys and so sorry for the loss.

  12. Dr. Schultz has been my dentist since 1993 and my families dentist since the 1980’s. He was truly an amazing person. He will be greatly missed by my family and myself. But the memories I have will always be cherished.

  13. RJ has been my dentist since 1989. We were at CU at the same time but did not meet until I became his patient. He was more than my dentist, he was my friend too and I will cherish the memories of our conversations over these many years. I am devastated to hear of his passing way too soon even though I know he had no fear of it whenever it came. I am thankful for his excellent care and will miss him so much!

  15. Dr. RJ was a great one. He did a lot for dentistry and represented the Southern Colorado Dental Society very well at the state level. He was a friend and always took my calls when I needed to chat with him regarding dentistry and dentistry politics. He was committed to COMOM which helped the underprivileged and others who could not afford dental treatment. He was kind, gentle, well spoken, courageous, understanding and much much more. I will miss my friend as will many of his patients, friends and relatives. RJ you made the world a better place when you were here with us. Blessings + Dr. V

  37. Dr. Shultz was my dentist for years and my mothers before me. You will be missed, may you rest in Heaven Dr.Shultz🙏🌹🙏

  38. RJ was one of my former students at Central High School. I lost touch with him after graduation. Then he began to practice with with dentist, James Sudduth. RJ took over the practice when Dr. Sudduth retired. Over the years he took care of my teeth, obviously, but also took an interest in my overall health. I am so sorry for the family. You are in my prayers.

  39. Gobsmacked I was, when I heard the bad news last Friday. I knew RJ since 4th or 5th grade. We were Eagle Scouts in Troop 17 and ’79 Central classmates. He was a groomsman in my wedding, and I was at his wedding too. We had many social occasions over the last half century and celebrated or mourned many milestones together. I was planning on growing old with RJ & Janice and our many mutual friends, but alas, it is not to be. Maybe St. Peter needed a root canal. Save seats for me and the gang at heaven’s Biergarten, old friend.

  44. RJ was such a kind and generous DDS. He treated every patient as a friend without concern of how their bill would be paid. He was very rare indeed.
