We are so sorry for your loss. Dr. Schultz was always funny, nice, and personable. He will be dearly missed.
Janice, My deepest sympathy for you and your family in this most difficult time. Hold onto the wonderful memories of him until you will see him face to face once again.
I was so happy when Community Residential took my suggestion to have my dentist Dr RJ be the dentist for all their clients. I knew he had the patience and personality to deal with all their problems and they all loved him. Me too for many years. I will miss him.
You were a good boss to me when I was a young dental assistant so many years ago and a great dentist to me and my daughters later on. Our condolences to your family and staff. – Mindy, Melissa & Katie
We all have exceptional moments in our lives that shine through the years. Such moments represent the highlights of our brief time on this earth. I had the great fortune of being one of RJ’s many friends at Pueblo Central, and our senior ditch day antics still carry a record of six such extraordinary moments in a single day. I verified this with my wife Robin, who confirmed that she had indeed heard each story several times (how does she put up with me?). Thank you, RJ, for being a great and memorable friend. You will never be forgotten.
So sorry to hear of Dr. Schultz death. He took care of all my families teeth. We will all miss him. Guess we will try the replacement dentist. Glad his staff will stay and take care of us. God bless them all. Love all. 💘
Dr. Schultz will be so missed. He also made me feel cared for and I felt like he and the team took care of me like family. So sorry for the loss for his family and for the amazing staff that worked with him all these years. This was more than just a dentist office, it was a place I knew I would be in the best care and that whatever was going on, I would be ok. Love you guys and so sorry for the loss.
RJ has been my dentist since 1989. We were at CU at the same time but did not meet until I became his patient. He was more than my dentist, he was my friend too and I will cherish the memories of our conversations over these many years. I am devastated to hear of his passing way too soon even though I know he had no fear of it whenever it came. I am thankful for his excellent care and will miss him so much!

Dr. RJ was a great one. He did a lot for dentistry and represented the Southern Colorado Dental Society very well at the state level. He was a friend and always took my calls when I needed to chat with him regarding dentistry and dentistry politics. He was committed to COMOM which helped the underprivileged and others who could not afford dental treatment. He was kind, gentle, well spoken, courageous, understanding and much much more. I will miss my friend as will many of his patients, friends and relatives. RJ you made the world a better place when you were here with us. Blessings + Dr. V
I am so very sorry for your loss. RJ was our favorite/best dentist we ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was always there for an emergency along with a smile and his sharp wit that was always entertaining. We will truly miss a wonderful dentist and a sweet man with a gentle heart.

To the Schultz family and friends,
I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Schultz’ passing. He was a great dentist who I got to know over the last twenty years. God Bless.
Our deepest condolences to this family. Dr. Schultz was not only a great dentist but a terrific human being. We loved his sense of humor and his outdoor stories and lifestyle. He was so understanding, knowledgeable and kind. May God Bless his family and may they know that God only takes the very BEST. Rest In Peace Dr. Schultz. You will be forever missed and remembered.
I’m still reeling from hearing this news, and wish to extend my condolences to the Schultz family and the staff at the dental office. RJ was my family’s dentist since the very beginning of his career and 3 generations are sure going to miss him. He was a good man, and held a good space in this world.
The loss of Dr. Schultz is a real blow to our community. He took such wonderful care of all my family and friends. I referred many to him because he was a really good dentist who never hurt you. God bless the family and friends
He was the most kind dentist we had ever had & wonderful human being❣
RJ, you were a gentle giant. Arnold and I enjoyed your company so much, and we will miss you greatly.
So sorry to hear this. I always enjoyed talking to RJ. I will always remember his sense of humor and kindness towards his patients.
So sad to hear this news. RJ was just a really good guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with RJ and family.
Dr. Shultz was my dentist for years and my mothers before me. You will be missed, may you rest in Heaven Dr.Shultz🙏🌹🙏
RJ was one of my former students at Central High School. I lost touch with him after graduation. Then he began to practice with with dentist, James Sudduth. RJ took over the practice when Dr. Sudduth retired. Over the years he took care of my teeth, obviously, but also took an interest in my overall health. I am so sorry for the family. You are in my prayers.
Gobsmacked I was, when I heard the bad news last Friday. I knew RJ since 4th or 5th grade. We were Eagle Scouts in Troop 17 and ’79 Central classmates. He was a groomsman in my wedding, and I was at his wedding too. We had many social occasions over the last half century and celebrated or mourned many milestones together. I was planning on growing old with RJ & Janice and our many mutual friends, but alas, it is not to be. Maybe St. Peter needed a root canal. Save seats for me and the gang at heaven’s Biergarten, old friend.

I’m so sorry to read this news. My thoughts and prayers are with you Janice. As well as good memories of a good neighbor.
Our deepest sympathies go out to Janice and his family both at home and at work. We will miss you. Rest in peace my friend.
My condolences to the family of RJ Schultz. May his memory be eternal.
RJ was such a kind and generous DDS. He treated every patient as a friend without concern of how their bill would be paid. He was very rare indeed.

He was such an important member of the COMOM community and his community of patients as well. A great dentist and a great guy. He will be missed.
I am so very sorry for your loss. RJ was the best dentist on this planet and a wonderful human being. He is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed!
You were a gentle soul…I’ll miss you and think of you often.
RJ was a hero to the many he helped through COMOM.
That smile and the crocks always recognizable.
To his family, thank you for sharing such a kind hearted dentist.
