Guestbook

  1. Our condolences to the family. Mrs. Filipowicz was a wonderful teacher. I had her in all the shorthand and typing classes at Warren during 1972-1975. Several of my siblings and cousins also had her as their teacher.

Senior year, Mrs. Filipowicz asked me to type the bookkeeping exam as I was exempt from taking the final in typing due to my grades. Talk about being honored.

She encouraged many students and I’m proud to say I was one of them.

  2. I read about Phyllis’ death in the Chieftain Saturday. I am sorry that my behavior ruined my relationship with Judi and with Phyllis and caused them pain. May she rest in peace. I will keep you in my prayers. Charles

  3. We were saddened to hear of the passing of Phyllis and send our condolences. Sharon and I had some wonderful visits in Gurnee,IL when Phyllis was still teaching at Warren and in Pueblo, Co., during visits with her and Judi. She and her presence has been missed in the past years, God bless.

  4. We send our sympathies to the family. We have pleasant memories of Phyllis, when she and my dad, Gilbert Clem, both taught at Warren Township High School many years ago.
